I dont currently offer sign-in books. What we do here is blow up one engagement shot and matte and frame it and the guests then sign on the matte. Im wondering to myself now if I should start offering photobook for guest sign in. What do you guys use? I saw a really nice one at a wedding recently, different mattes on one side and LHS was dedicated for signing. Paper was a rugged almost papyrus type paper. Quite nice indeed.

Id love to know what you guys use and how successful of a product this is.

I use KISS Books, of course... smile.gif I just design the albums to have screened images that people can sign on, or just a lot of white space around single, small images of the couple. As long as you use Sharpies, there's no issues. They look great when finished. I should borrow one form my client to show you how they fill out...

As a word of advice, I'd make sure a friend of the couple stands by the book while people sign to avoid devil horns and mustaches from being added to the album.

Kevin, any book in particular?

Beautiful colors, incredible turn-around time, and the paper is perfect for signing.

Hope this helps!

Well, KISS only has one book, just 3 sizes. I've used all 3, depending on the client's desires. If they have 400 guests, I recommend the 12x for more signature room... etc.

Two for visionart....Ill look at them. I think the cost of the KISS books wont sell here in the Caribbean...just something for me to see how it goes.

Just be careful that you're not artificially boxing yourself in by assuming what people will and won't pay. I know that all the folks in the midwest, where I shoot, told me I'd never make more than $7k a wedding. I double that now. If I'd have listened to them, I wouldn't have pushed the envelope.

Not saying for sure you can pull it off, but you'd be surprised what people will spend if you offer them quality goods and services.

+1 My clients LOVE them! They are perfect for signing and the last wedding I shot, where they had their book out.....people were telling me all night how awesome the book was.

I would like to find guest book with more natural (hand-torn) pages and non-library bound. I looked into Couture but with all the negative feedback about their durability, I'm thinking that wouldn't be a good option. There's also Cypress Iris and Juniper books.

Any other ideas?
