Full Version: Batch conversion using image processor
OpenSourcePhoto > Digital Photography > Post Processing

Pardon me if this has already been discussed here. I did a search, couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

Recently I have started using Image processor to covert from RAW to JPEG. I used DPP before. The size of the files are much larger when converted in DPP. Image Processor generates files that are between 1-3MB. I understand that I am saving files at quality 10. Is there any other reasons for the files to be that small? I am guessing the dpi is 240. Also wondering, if this is going to affect if I need to make big prints. Please advice. wacko.gif

Thanks much guys.

are you constraining the images to certain dimensions?
*nudrat*
nope. these are just RAW images simply being converted to jpeg. I just looked through the set. looks like a lot of them are 5K and over. I don't understand the inconsistency. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Put a full size jpg on your site somewhere and give us a link to it so we can take a look-see.
