Hi OSP,

So, is there anyone who can explain to me what the heck is happening here? Imagenomic Noiseware Pro with "full noise reduction" on and a few other adjustments I have tweaked is yielding spectacular results on one computer of mine (just an imac with a 17 in. monitor) but is not cutting out as much noise when I use it with my new Mac Pro and 20 in. monitor. I have triple checked to make sure all of my settings are the same and I'm trying it out on the same photo but the one on my Mac Pro won't do the trick as well!

What is going on??? Does ANYONE know why this would be happening?

Hmmm, not sure. I've used it on two different Intel iMacs (2.0 and 2.16 GHz) but nothing out of the ordinary going on...

I'd probably delete the plugin, reboot and re-install and check again to start trouble-shooting this...

I don't use noiseware.. I found Noise Ninja does a better job for me.. but.. some things to look at..

Is one using noise profiles the other doesn't have? I'm not really familiar with NW, but with Noise Ninja they have profiles for cameras.. maybe your camera profile isn't on the machine giving you problems? Is one auto profiling once the image is loaded while the other isn't?

Just some thoughts?

Noiseware has a "self learning" feature that adjusts the noise reduction depending on the types of images you process - you can turn it off. I'm not sure how, but I did read that it was possible. HTH!
