I was just looking online to buy some more memory and I found this
at Amazon.

Does anybody know what the difference is between bulk and retail packages and if it is worth the savings?

Thank you!

Generally bulk is the same stuff you just don't get the annoying packaging that you'll end up throwing away anyway. Keep in mind that the two items are sold by different vendors though, they are not being sold by amazon. You may want to do some independent research to make sure the end vendor is reputable.

How about you go ahead and buy one and report back to us? wink.gif

Well...I did buy some so I guess I will report back!!! Hopefully it will all be good! 51.gif

I checked the vendors before and they seemed OK, but I didn't spend to much time on that part... biggrin.gif

Well... I said I will report back about the memory cards so that's what I'm doing.
I just wanted to let everybody know that I ordered 6 cards from Amazon (the bulk version) and there seems to be no problem with them. I already shot an event with a couple and they did fine.
They come in the little white protective cases with no other extra packaging (the box, the CD and all that).
I will say that $34 for a 4 GB Extreme III memory card is pretty decent.
That's all...smile.gif
