I recently signed up for red cart to try it out. It seems so far that getting your pictures in a new gallery is a real hassle. The tutorial on how to do it is 29 pages long. It seems like there is a lot of steps to remember and do that its just way to time consuming. For $89 per month I feel its to inconvenient. Just wanted to know if others think this or am I just to needy? Thanks!

It's quite simple once you have it set up and do it a couple times. I thought it was a bear the first time, but now I've got the workflow down. I think it's awesome and I love how easy it is to set up the cart with different sections. You just can't beat the look of the cart.

Thanks for the positive. Maybe I just need to get used to it, I think there definately is a learning curve at first. I think I will give it some time because your right, the look of it and stuff is really awesome.

hey Michael- i LOVE my RedCart... and so do my clients so far. I agree that getting things set up is a bit of a hassle (there are a lot of facets to the program), but you really can do as much or as little with it as you like. I found the uploading process a bit tedious as well, but only at first. My solution for simplifying the process was to read through the section about uploading in the manual, and then take cliff notes on it. I am left with about 5-6 bullet points on a post-it, and it works easily, quickly and flawlessly every time now. Also, once you do it a few times in a row, it becomes habit (and it's not so bad).
Hope that helps! And it really is a slick looking gallery!!

I would say stick with it because they have done a very nice job in their new release.
I would also suggest to checkout Photocart. Everything Redcart has but for less than half the price. It is worth a look before you commit and know you have examined all the choices.
