OK, I'm usually pretty good when it comes to tech stuff but this one has me stumped. I'm running CS3 on a Mac Pro. The computer is up to date on all its software updates as are all the Adobe programs. However, when I go to open Bridge it now bounces in the toolbar like it's going to open but then, before it does open, the program closes. What gives? Does anybody have any suggestions?
I could reinstall the program but I'd really rather not as I'm moving in 4 days and my life (including my software) is all in boxes.
Anyone that can help me will get my undying gratitude forever.

Hmmm... I have CS3, and a mac book pro, and I don't have trouble with bridge. I think you might have to reinstal. Maybe someone else has a better answer.

We've seen this before and Kari is right: the best thing to do is reinstall. Sorry.

You most likely have a corrupt preference setting. Make a new user account on the machine if you don't already have another one and then use Bridge as that user. If the problem goes away then just set the rights on the new account to write to your main account and overwrite the pref files with the ones on the newer account. If you're confused PM me and I'll walk ya thru it.

For fear of repetition, you have a gremlin (aka a corrupt file) and will need to re-install
