I think I prefer the "real" colors of Alaska - but the images are really cool!

You mean the real colors?? They look super saturated.
Just out of curiosity - where in AK did you go? I lived there for a few years and I miss it.
Well sort of.

I love summer, so I'm lovin' the 90s weather here right now.
But I miss snow and skiing and all that good stuff.

I can't wait. My sisters husband is stationed in Fairbanks. I get the lucky (???) Task of driving with her from Fairbanks to either Colorado Springs, CO (I'm REALLY hoping it's here..) or back home to Chicago. So we'll be going through some beautiful country in an RV so we can stop wherever we want, which is why I'd prefer CO since we can stop at all the places I didn't visit north of there when I actually lived in the state.

They look like they have a little HDR processing to them.
The bear looks so cuddly.
I'm jealous. I so want to take an Alaskan cruise.

Great shots, they do look like HDR though. Are they? I just got back from Yellowstone and agree with your PP... I could spend months, if not years, photographing there. It is amazing to me and I feel like I left my heart there! LOL. I need a dorky shirt I guess.
