for the second time, i have had to follow up with san disk about the status of my rebate. i had purchased a few cards this winter, and applied for the winter rebate, which after 10 weeks, i finally emailed them about and subsequently received.
however, i had to do THE SAME THING with the cards i bought this spring. so, just as a little reminder, check your mailboxes, and if its been 8 weeks since you've applied, you will likely need to follow up. i had to supply the same information submitted on the rebate form again both times, so its a good idea to have it handy when you do.
best wishes!

I just had a similar experience with their rebates. They sent me a postcard stating that I had to submit the UPC of my purchase with the rebate information. I wrote back stating that I have a big hole where the UPC is supposed to be on the packaging, so I must have sent it and asked if it's not possible that it was dropped etc. Never heard back, rebate expired ... here goes $60.

after being on hold for 45 minutes (the first rebate), i emailed them instead. this time, i just emailed them right away, specifying the address the rebate was applied for under, the amount expected, the product purchased, plus the upc code. allegedly, the second one has now been processed and my b&h card is in the mail.
i hate hate hate waiting on hold. just trying to save you all some time.

I had the same problem - postcard stating I didn't send it a receipt or UPC codes. I called the 800# and let them know that I had photocopied everything I mailed. She said fine, and probably 10 weeks after that the gift card finally arrived. Glad to see they are so on the ball with everyone's rebates.

I got mine no problem....
I always photocopy my UPC and rebate info after being burned a couple times by different companies. I didn't have any trouble with my Sandisk this time. It did take about 10 weeks though.

Waiting for about $80 from them...think it's been about 3 months already. And forgot to copy all the docs! Does anyone have the number to call about this? Can you post it?

I received my Sandisk rebate pretty quick this time around.
Unusually quick actually, about 4 weeks.

Mine have been coming in $20 Visa Cards, I requested the Visa cards but I had $100 in rebates and I guess they split them up. Received 2 so far, about 3 weeks apart.

I copied everything *and* sent it via return-receipt mail. Nothing this time. Usually, they've been quick. I have it on my list of stuff to call them. They owe me $160.

Hmm, bad you have to wait that long.
I have bought several times from Kingston, and twice I missed the deadline for rebates, So I wrote to them and said I had been busy. To my surprise, both times they honored the rebates. (around $200 in all)
So we sent in for rebates about a week ago for a couple of x266 speed cards, and today received an email saying they were being processed. Should have the money within 7 days.
Anyway, the point is I have had very good experience with Kingston, for anyone who is interested.
