Ahhh, Katie and I had a wonderful session with this couple. When we met with them the groom to be asked if we could do their engagement session with their Land Rover! They wanted to go with a Ralph Laurenesque look. So we went with a classic, timeless look with them. Enjoy the post! biggrin.gif

Thank you everybody for your kind comments. This was really fun to wrap our minds around. We actually went to Ralph Lauren's website to do a little research before hand so we can feel out exactly what they wanted. yltype.gif

Those are great! There's an awesome fashion magazine quality about them.

Awesome stuff, Chris! I saw this thread a few days ago and, given my obsession with Land Rovers, meant to comment on your great work, but got sidetracked, sorry. Great stuff! As luck would have it, I had my very own Landy session today and thought of you and this thread...hope it's ok to add these, but I figured they were on topic.

My client's dad has a dozen or so Landys including one of the most beautiful D-90s I've ever seen, as well as a '93 110 (one of only 500 ever imported into the US and one of the coolest rides ever made!), so you can imagine my disappointment when I arrived to shoot their session only to find they had not brought one of their Rovers! Had they forgotten my love for them?

Anyway, we had a great shoot all afternoon at the Biltmore Estate, but afterwards I offered to follow them back to her dad's house (not a all near where I live) and do a quick session with one of the Landys (I requested the 110, of course).... heck, it's not every day that a photographer has access to a $60,000+ prop! They were out of time, so we literally only had about 5 minutes with the truck. I had them back it into the overgrown parking lot next to a gas station (you'd laugh if you could see what a crappy road-side location it was, but hey, ya work with whatchya got), and had time for only one set-up... insta-safari!

Anyway, we had fun! Here are a couple...
