TAYLOR & FRIENDS | THE ULTIMATE BAT MITZVAH

Our last post was about the Janny, our ultimate bride. This one is about the ultimate Bat Mitzvah for Taylor Jacobs. I have to say I'm quite embarrassed that I have not blogged about this AMAZING event sooner. Taylor's mom, Juli, and I have been recently talking about the book design and it's been so difficult to narrow down the best images for the book because there are SO MANY!!! This may be the longest photo entry I've ever made but I just couldn't eliminate anymore photos from this post. I know this is going to slow your computers down trying to load so many photos so my apologies now!!!

Where do I begin? First of all, the Jacobs family is so much fun and do they know how to throw a party!!! Ahhh, YES would be the answer to that question. Oh my gosh... Juli and Keith planned for months, alongside their event planner Reva Nathan. Together they put together the most incredible Bat Mitzvah for Taylor. Between the lighting, decor, flowers, and food... oh my gosh... the food. Juli spents hours upon hours planning the menu. I wanted to post the food shots too because you just would not have believed your eyes. Tenderloin of beef au poivre, with buns that were branded with the letter "T". All kinds of fun foods for the kids, mini corndogs on sticks, pints of Coldstone Creamery on individual trays filled with mini oreos, m&m's, sprinkles, syrup, and walnuts, iPod brownies, Garrett's Popcorn, grilled cheese club sandwiches with tootsie pops holding them together. Smores, cupcakes, and ohhhhh, my the list goes on and on!!!! Every single ounce of yummy details were covered.

The service was held at North Shore Congregation Israel in Glencoe and the celebration was at the Standard Club downtown Chicago. If anyone has ever been to the Standard Club, you will not believe it was the same room. It was completely transformed into a kid palace with pinks, blues and greens! AMAZING! Everything color coordinated from the beautiful linens by BBJ Linen, to the spectacular lighting by Frost Lighting right down to the tasty mousse for dessert. Incredible! They even made it snow in the room... yes... SNOW! And the waiters sprayed Avian water into the air to cool everyone off... seriously... so much fun!

Bob and George... you both did such a great job capturing the day! There are so many wonderful photos to chose from, hence, the long post! Kuddos to you both!!! And thank you to the fun and fabulous Jacobs family for allowing us to document this very important day in Taylor's life!!!
