Some time ago I made mention that I had gotten a retail space but that there were TONS of work to be done.... well, we still aren't done... the bathroom is our battle, but its coming. Its really late and I had to shoot these on a really high ISO but here are just a couple pix.

There are ZERO before pix... I know I know... I really didn't think I'd want them. Really didn't realize just HOW FAR it would come.

The space was formerly a beauty shop. Its narrow but long. These pix are just of the main meeting area. You can see this isn't my strength.

The first is my favorite part of the room...the ceiling. It was a HORRIBLE blotchy spray painted gold. We didn't have the option to strip and refinish so we painted over it... Its a soft metallic platinum color. Very pretty.

we added the chandelier. there was nothing there. It is black and smoked glass *actually looks like welches grape juice when the light shines through it* It does cast some prominent shadows on the wall, but I'm not bothered by it. Its more obvious in the pix than in real life

We added the crown molding and the accent lights inside the crown to help light up the ceiling.

these show my 2nd fave part of the room... the gorgeous red velvet sofa.... yummy.

and the last shows the tv for slideshows smile.gif

oh my! i am so excited for you, that place looks great!
jmesser
thanks everybody! I'm excited. We have another meeting space with a blue sofa just like that one, but we're building a wall to seperate it from our work space, so it's full of junk right now.

Our bathroom has been quite a project... the one that was there was literally (NO EXAGGERATION) 4x4 so we tore it out and started fresh. We hated the first thing we did to the walls, so we decided to go nuts and paint the ENTIRE thing high gloss black with white trim. Its awesome but there's no trim yet, so it looks funny. I'll post pix of it when we're done.
Lisette

lisette! I can't believe we didn't go by there while you were here! How silly was that? LOL

Congratulations, Jessica! The place looks great so far...but I feel your pain, I was painting and renovating about this time last year. Not fun, but so worth it!

I'm late on this, but it looks amazing! I need to come down to Clanton, I know you have done more since... When finished final pics will be cool to add to your website!
