I'm obviously very new to all of this and still have a lot to learn!

I'm wondering a few things but didn't want to do tons of post.

1. What is the most efficient way to do a website, cost effective, easy to maintain? Host?

2. How did you get your name out there? I was thinking of getting a few business cards made and placing them around a few different boutiques here in town. I'd also really like a few senior shoots within the next few months but don't know any seniors here in the area.

3. Where/ Who did your logo, and what can i expect for an average price?

4. Best place for business cards?

Thanks! All of you have been such a huge help and i'm loving checking out all of the new sites/blogs!

1. Cant really help you there. I used BluDomain and have not had any issues but a lot of people have.
2. Still working on this one.
3. Well a very nice and awesome photographer on here did one version (she has not gave me the okay to say her name... but she might chime in) also Joy Edwards did my logo on my website. joy@studio-je.com is her email
4. I used Overnight prints and am pleased. The ones I have are nothing fancy. I saw some awesome rounded edged ones somewhere. They were nice.

My experience is limited, but I'll share what little I know thus far.

1. Bludomain has been good to me so far, easy to set up and maintain, and the initial cost isn't to bad considering what else is available. Keep an eye on Showit Sites. I think they will be the new standard very soon.

2. I've done a terrible job(very little) in getting my name out there. Working on it.

3. I did my logo. It was a modification from a personal logo I had in college as part of my graphic design major. Look to pay anywhere from $250-$500 for a good logo.

4. I've had great results from OvernightPrints.com; others on OSP have horror stories, so take my recommendation with a grain of salt. Do a small run as a test.

Do you have a name for your biz? I'd be happy to work on a logo concept for you as a favor to a fellow OSPer.

Thanks! We have narrowed it down to JesPark for the name. my name is a little long so we shortened first and last.
Thanks to Rachael Earl!

I'll check out bludomain and also showit...is showit software that you have to purchase, i haven't become very familiar with it yet.
