I'm really digging the new Coldplay album today. Produced in part by Brian Eno.

i picked it up as well. Haven't got through all of it yet so we'll see how it compares to the others.

I downloaded it ages ago but forgot to burn when my copy was available today. So far, I'm enjoying the first two tracks released early. I read reviews from folks saying it sucked.

But they're probably more picky than moi (and do not have a crush on Chris Martin, like moi)

It's definitely different than their last couple of albums. Less piano, darker, more moody.

Sorta has a U2 Joshua Tree vibe (probably b/c of Brian Eno).

Yeah, this album is pretty different from their previous 3!

My friend sat on Ticketmaster's webssite all day on Saturday and got us tickets for the July show in Chicago. Whoo hoo. I'm so excited to see them live.

AMAZING!!! that's all i can say. it's a little beatles meets U2 but i don't know that there could ever be a better combination.

Has anyone heard about this? Whether or not you agree that Coldplay stole from Creaky Boards, I think this singer's approach to this is pretty genius (watch thru the end and you'll see what I mean)

Gail, I am biased with a crush as well... I love the new album but I love all things Coldplay. LOLHOLY CRAP!!!! Me no like! I would err on the Creaky Boards side. UGH! What a bummer!

I didn't know that this was produced by Brian Eno until I read it here.
The funny thing is I thought this was a blatant U2 rip-off when I should have realized it was produced by Eno.
He has a strange ability to make everything he touches sound the same these days, unlike his early work with Bowie
and Roxy Music... IMHO\
...that being said, I can't get the new song out of my head since reading this post.
