i have an opportunity for an amazing portrait photographer to bless a family in need...

my friends shannon and matt recently received the news that both of their kids, waverly and oscar, have been diagnosed with mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS), specifically it is known as MPS III or Sanfilippo Syndrome (http://www.mpssociety.org/). (Without the ability to break down certain materials in the body, a build-up hinders normal development of the child. Affected individuals may have mental retardation, cloudy corneas, short stature, stiff joints, incontinence, speech and hearing impairment, chronic runny nose, hernia, heart disease, hyperactivity, depression, pain and a dramatically shortened life span.)

so essentially they've found out their children probably won't live through teen years...they are making the move from london to virgina in order to provide their children with medical care.

i wanted to bless them with beautiful pieces of art, capturing the joy and life of their kids before the tragic reality of tests, hospitals, bills, and increased illnesses take over. if i lived closer i would have the priviledge of doing it myself...

so i'm reaching out to the osp family hoping i can find someone who would be willing to donate their time and their gift of photography to bless my friends.
