Hey guys I wanted to know who you love for renting gear when your feeling frisky and want to try some new lenses out...
Beth Berry
I used LensProtoGo.com to rent a macro, and the customer service was wonderful. And they were nice enough to let me mail it back a day late when I had a schedule conflict.

Another compliment for Paul at LensProtoGo. He is a true gentleman and always makes you feel like you are his only client.

I finally broke down and bought a new lens similar to what I rented from him over the past year. He wished me well with it and didn't say, "Well I guess I can't feed my kids now you big jerk!" smile.gif

Oh, and the quality of his lenses are superb. His lenses always look like they just came out of the factory box.

When I have needed I have rented from rentglass.com and I have always been extremely happy with their customer service and their prices are the most affordable. I have always received very clean gear and they are super easy to deal with. The only thing is that what you need is not available you have to get on a waiting list, but they email you pretty quickly when it's available.
Paul
You guys are awesome!!!! Thank you so much for all the compliments. It's a real pleasure helping you all out.

Ramiro, one of the things that separates us from the rest of the pack is that we take reservations. As pro photographers (we're almost all pros here right?) we don't care too much for waiting lists and wondering whether or not we'll get the gear we need. So when you need a lens or two for your event, just give us a ring and we'll put the gear on hold for you. Piece O' Cake!

And Peace out!
Paul

I just had my first order with rentglass.com and they were great. I received my lens within a couple of days and the lens was in mint condition.

I've used BorrowLenses.com and love them. They've given me great customer service and even sent the lens earlier than I asked for no extra charge.

Hi Sarah,

Sorry for the late reply but email is always the best for me for a quick answer. Unfortunately, due to the higher cost of shipping and longer times in transit, we cannot ship outside the US. But please do let me know if you're ever in the states and we'll be more than happy to help you out.

Thanks,
Paul

LOL. Umm, my "local" camera shop is three hours drive from here. And that's a small one. The "bigger" one is five hours from here. And I say bigger with quotes 'cause that's pushing it. LOL
