Full Version: Backup Software Recomendation for PC

I am looking for PC software that will make periodic backups of my data drive (separate from my OS drive) to an external drive that is not always connected. I would like the software to only backup new files or files that have changed since the last backup.

I have seen good reviews of "Genie Backup Manager 8" however, I don't need all of the multitude of features, just a simple but accurate (and hopefully less expensive) solution.

Best back up software for a PC - a Mac!

Sorry, couldn't resist it! I just started using Time machine on the Mac, REALLY cool. Hope you find what your are looking for.

This isn't going to an external drive, but I've recently started using JungleDisk that backs up to Amazon's S3 service. It has an option for automated backups and I've found it's affordable, fast, and reliable.
