It's time to play "What Did Dan Do?" again...this one should be pretty easy compared to other things I've posted. wink.gif

What is this? And how was it created?

(note -- it's SOOC -- straight out of camera)

Looks like you're looking through a 70-200 not attached to the camera.

Lucky Red Hen lives up to her name! smile.gif (and her reputation for being sharp!) Nice job Shannon!

Actually I didn't really think it would be that hard to figure out (I should have cropped out the tripod collar a bit!). I just happened to be changing lenses (actually...I was changing bodies...that's kinda what you find yourself doing in a dimly lit church and you have the big 70-200 mounted on a tripod). So...while switching out the bodies wink.gif I thought I'd shoot through the unattached 70-200 using my 35-70. Since the lens inverts the image through the SLR...and I wanted to be true to not manipulating the image by rotating it 180 degrees in post (actually I was just wanting to see it upright on the LCD)...I actually shot that with my camera upside down too. smile.gif

And to think I didn't even have a 2nd shooter at this wedding and I still found time to goof off... laughing.gif

Surely I'm not the only one who has ever done this shot (or something similar)...anyone else have examples?????

So what do I win? I could use an 85 1.2 L or the 24-70 L (a fish eye could be fun) tee hee smile.gif
