I became a member of WPPI a few months ago and noticed that membership included a subscription to Rangefinder magazine. I have not yet received a single copy. I have emailed WPPI 3 times now and not one reply.

Can anyone confirm if the included subscription is for a hard copy of Rangefinder or just a subscription to allow you to read it online?

I don't think i'll be renewing my subscription if they can't even reply to a simple email (three times)!!

I'm sorry Carl, I have no idea, I don't belong to WPPI, but I get a free subscription, my understanding is that any professional photographer can get a free subscription. If you go to their website, under subscriptions you should be able to sign up.

I believe its for a hard copy. We receive two a month and thats the only place they could be coming from as far as i know. Patience tho I think ours took awhile also.

Same, I joined WPPI at the conference and have received a few issues since then. Try calling their subscription number? They might have a typo in your address, and I find that a phone call will often get things done a lot more quickly than email will.

Thanks for the info so far, Jen the free copies are only available for US & Canada residents. I'm in the UK. I did have a subscription direct with Rangefinder a couple of years ago and never missed an issue, it's just the WPPI element that's causing a problem.

What's annoying me more than anything is that the WPPI have not replied to 3 emails, despite mentioning i've sent a similar previous request. It seems to me that as soon as they've got your money "Que Sera"!! They won't be getting it again.
