So earlier today I made a post venting my frustration with Blu Domain and my contact page. Now that my pregnant hormones have simmered down...I will repost.
My website is from Blu and hosted through them. I'll say I love my website and their work. It's truly amazing, however, we have had many issues with their customer service and technical support. Trying to purchase the website was a huge undertaking. It was very difficult to get a response from them...you'll find this is often a common problem when dealing with Blu. Then, about a month after we launched our website, a client informed me that they had emailed me from the website and never heard back. That was the first time the contact page was not working. We all know what happens when you don't contact a client...you lose their business and word spreads. We tried contacting them for technical support and were again let down. They offered no support. Thankfully, my husband who is in IT was able to 'fix' the problem.
Well...found out it happened again. Not sure how many client inquries I've missed. My husband had to go back in and work on some things. We didn't even want to deal with the hassle of trying to get through customer support. It's just so frustrating b/c when you make an investment of this importance, you need the site and host to work.
I just wanted to put this out there as a heads up for anyone considering a Blu website. There are some people out there who have no problems at all when dealing with Blu. Others, have run into the same issues we have. It's really disappointing b/c I think it could be an amazing company if they would just beef up their customer and technical support. Just please be aware when considering them and if you get one of their sites, please periodically check your contact page and make sure you're receiving your inquiries. I don't know anyone else to run into this issue like we have.
