Anyone got any?
Andy Schwartz
None here as of yet.
I love the dual monitor support. I have one 17" set up in grid view (most of the time) and the 24" set up to do edits in.

I also like the improvement in sharpening and Color Vibrance, clarity, saturation sliders.

Are you having any issues?
Aytch
I'm holding off because Adobe's disclaimer says that some edits made in the Beta version won't transfer to the actual release.

OHH, also the new vignette function "Post-Crop" is cool. I use some PS actions for this now, but I hated that in LR1.4 you couldn't vignette after a crop, as it was mainly there to correct light fall-off.

I am running it on a G5 tower and a 13" macbook.

ONE BUG!!!: On Lynn's 40D it doesn't show shutter speed in the Metadata for some reason. Maybe just a Beta thing.

So far none.

Mike.... CAUTION!!!!! I sent you this in an email earlier, but PLEASE take heed...

LR 2.0 is ONLY A BETA at present time, and therefore is known to have some bugs. Also, your edits may not be visible in LR 2.0 Final Release, so it is not recommended that you use it for primary editing... simply to test the program. Also, if it happens to corrupt any files... thats it. Don't go complaining to Adobe if you lose some important work.

Get LR 1.4 for now, and upgrade to 2.0 when it's made available as a final release. I really don't recommend that you use LR 2.0 as a main editing solution as of yet.

+1, I should've mentioned that as well. All of my work is done in 1.4 and I experiment and play with 2.0.

Thanks Trevor! Sorry I am just now getting back to this thread guys....
My main editing program is Bridge and then CS3 (heckofalotta batching) Right now that is working for me and I didn't mean to scare anyone into thinking that I was changing that yet! BUT... I'm not far from making the jump to LR full time... I just need to find some decent presets. biggrin.gif

I have played with 2.0 a few days ago and it seems to be ALOT like bridge. I like that alot!
I haven't downloaded 1.4 yet but I will tonight.
Trevor thank you for all your help man!! You are SUPER sofa boy!! thumbsup.gif urock.gif

My only problem is that after installing Beta 2 all my presets in Lightroom 1.4.1 are gone!

they are physically where they suppose to be but they don't show up on LR 1.4.1.
MeeksDigital
thats funny... all of my presets carried over no problem... have you tried just importing your presets to LR 2.0?

They show up fine on Lightroom 2, it is in Lightroom 1.4.1 where they disappeared
