ugggh....I'm SO not goingto be a good wildlife photographer....many of you saw my post last week that I was HIGH from photographing these adorable cubs with the Momma Rosie....and we stood out in the rain with those HUGE back-breaking lenses with the bear papparazzi....

well now a week later, Rosie and her cubs got into it with another black bear & Rosie is injured and one of the cubs died! I got WAY too attached to those things...I would take a divorce after a wedding anytime, but NOT this!

More on my blog....

I'm SO sad today!

Kay - That is probably a good idea - if this scenario bothers you, since the most profitable wildlife shots generally involve chasing down, killing or eating prey!

Your images were terrific. I love shooting in the area, especially with the Tetons in the background!

Yeah....it does remind me of a cat we "fostered" several years ago. My kiddos were 5 and 7 and we did a favor for the local animal shelter....housing a pregnant cat and then the litter until they were 6 weeks old. We REALLY got attached to those kittens, watching them born and nursing them into thriving little 6 week old cats, and then after they left our home they developed a disease (feline distemper) that wiped out the whole litter. My kids were SO sad....but it is nature....
