Searched the forum and found nothing on this. I get the above message when trying to open an old slideshow, and after images have been "processed" to create a new one. My file names should be fine, no weird characters, they're all 8-bit jpegs same size I always shoot at. WTF? After a new show has supposedly been created the images are all black and don't work.

Are you on a Mac? This sounds like it has to do with Flash being unable to read the file from the disk which can be caused by a special character in one of the folders in the file path to your show. To test this, move the show folder directly to the root of your hard drive and try opening from there. If that works, it's just a matter of figuring out what folder to save your shows to so that you don't have a special character in the path. I hope that helps,
