$4? I would pay that. Regular here was $4.39 full service in Point Lookout NY. Gas on the water, for boats...$5.89 for super. I would hate to have a triple big block Cigarette boat about now. Let's see...86 gallons per hour at high cruise (70 mph)...$500 and hour just in gas.

Crude oil price up 110% in past year...cost of gas only up 30%, so watch out....there is more to come! $4 may seem cheap sometime soon sad.gif

I heard on the radio that it may go up to $12/gallon and that over $4 is just the beginning.

I have to point out that I am an eternal optimist and have been watching this closely since the majority of my clients (for the last four years) own car dealerships - mostly GM, Toyota, and some Chrysler. I could start a new thread on that alone!

As a business owner you have to watch the entire market around you and while gas prices are inching up month-by-month and the amount of gas people are putting into their vehicles every month is just about equal to a car payment - somethings are going to start to give in their budgets.

I just want to share this especially since this is the first time I'm starting to think that $4 is going to be our "new low" for the summer.

Stay positive and if you have a few minutes the link below is very interesting in regards to the current gas prices:
