Hi OSP!

Happy Sunday! I have an opportunity to purchase a nice Tokina 12-24mm but want to know:

1. Does anyone use it? If "yes" how do you like it?
2. Is it wide enough for those super creative shots we love to create?
3. Is the reported lack of sharpness in the corners a big deal?

As always, thank you for your help and I look forward to reading your responses.

1. Indeed...I use this lens.
2. It is definitely wide enough to me...I was only about 6 feet away from my car for this one.

...and this one was from up in a balcony to the side.

3. I don't have any problem with any lack of sharpness in the corners. Most of the time some of the corners get cropped for a print, and the overall novelty of the warp tends to make me not care a whole lot about pixel peeping my way to tack sharpness. I'd feel differently if I were using it for architecture or something, but I got this lens for fun and for much cheaper than the Nikon version. It's solid...a little slow, and touchy with chromatic abberation. Overall, for the price I think it's great.
