i just wanted to sing the praises of Jared and his awesome blog template.

I wasn't going to show it off because my logo colors are still in process, but who cares, we are all a work in progress, right? I have not been all that happy with Typepad, doesn't support flash, pictures too small, design very very limited - and I love this guys design (found it a couple of months ago) and I can't wait to get started with it (my winter project!). Love your work by the way!

OK... since there are a couple users here of this template. Can anyone answer these questions.

Can I migrate all my old wordpress hosted posts into my website hosted blog?

Is this hard to install and figure out?

I think you should be able to migrate from wordpress to wordpress hosted elsewhere. I am having some issues migrating from Blogger to wordpress hosted elsewhere, and was told I could migrate from blogger to wordpress to wordpress self-hosted, but that seems like too much work

I didn't think it was overly hard to install (godaddy has a button and does all the work for you), and it really does come with step by step walk-throughs. I did it in one night.

Thanks so much for all of your warm glowing feedback. I really appreciate it. I had the template since Feb. and life ran away with me and I wasn't able to take the time to get it up. One night I was like, "ok, dang it, I'm getting my new blog rolling." I started at 11 PM and by 1 AM I had a rough site up." I'll admit my husband did the techy stuff and I did the work in PS. Hubby said it was cinchy to do and there are mannny tutorials. Jared will install it for you too for a charge. He is SUPER helpful.Don't hesitate, it's so nice to have a pretty blog up!btw, it's a wordpress blog theme, so you can bring your old posts with you when you do the template. The only thing is your photos will be small in comparison to your new ones. I didn't lose a thing.
