I'm trying to create a slideshow that will be made into a DVD--what is the best size/aspect ratio for this? We've only ever done them for the web...

Hey Airika

One of the beautiful things about Showit Web is that you don't have to worry about that. If you click the DVD button we will generate the higher res files for you.

And make sure when you upload the pictures to showit, the pictures should be the high res one.. Correct me if I am wrong DJ

600x400 (3:2) works well if the show will be running widescreen.
Square works well if the show will be running on a standard TV.
But your best bet is to continue to create shows that you're happy with on the web, and let Showit-DVD do it's thing to give you the most appropriate output.
