Is anyone using this? I'm ready for a change in the way I present albums online. The thing I LOVE about this program is that the client can make a comment about what changes they would like to be made and it's emailed to me....that's way cool. What isnt way cool is that its $150 a year...every year.

What other progs do you guys use to display your albums online?

Photoshop Web Gallery has a Feedback template...not the best display of the individual album pages, but it does provide a place for comments on each spread and then composes an e-mail back to you from the client with the comments for each spread.

I'm thinking of using it just for comment feedback. We use ACDSee Pro HTML album to actually show the album spreads.

I use soundslides.
It's mainly used for photojournalism, for multimedia presentations, which is what I got it for, but I decided to just drop the low-res files of my album into it, it automatically spaces the pages according to the length of the song you put it, which makes it about a 1 minute process.

And it's only $30... once, ever! biggrin.gif

I use www.page-flip.com it is only $40, but there is a bit of coding I had to learn for it. Here is an example:

Also, Album Showcase by Gary Fong is easy to use and it looks great. I forget, but I think that was around $200.

I've thought about using this before, but I've had a hard time getting additional information smile.gif Looks like an amazing product though!!!

i'm using it. it works generally well. the music selections are so-so, but you can upload your own if you want.

it's sometimes pretty slow to load, but not terrible.

the fact that clients can add comments is very cool. unfortunately, i get a lot of clients who email me right after they try to submit and say "hey, i had some technical errors with that site...did you get the comments?" i always have, but it's frustrating that my clients (most of them) seem to get errors when they submit. (but I've been too swamped to follow up.)

also, i asked a while back for a 'confirmation' message when the client submits comments or approves the book, and it hasn't been added. i've had one client accidentally approve.

soo...it's a great idea and a good start to a product, and certainly worth the cost, but i think they need to be working on the development a bit more. wink.gif (otherwise someone with a comparable less buggy product is going to come along and i'll switch without hesitation.)

I just use Showit Web. smile.gif

i use it as well, and have had the same experience as jillian. overall its a solid product with the only drawback being that users sometimes get error messages when their comments are submitted (even though they always come through on our end). the fact that you can brand it and even give the site it's own unique domain makes it totally worth it. combine that with the fact that you get comments on the actual spread in question instead of having to track them down and hope you are making changes to the spread they intended is also well worth it.
