Hey Everyone,
I have a job in Nashville next week. I need to bring my lighting equip. but my 60" softliter will NOT fit in my suitcase. This is the first time I've traveled with my lighting equip. So, I have a couple of questions.
1. Any ideas on what I can use to pack my softliter in (hard case) and where I can get one BEFORE Tuesday.
2. Would someone in the area be willing to let me use their softliter for a few hours while I do the shoot?

Thanks so much for any help you can offer.

Good Morning,

I know a lot of people use golf bags for this. If you are looking for deals, you could even try a used sporting goods store.

The travel bag that I use:

Always gets mistaken for a golf bag with customs. Most of the time they don't even look in it. For some strange reason they have increased the price since I got mine.

They also offer this bag that could work. You would just need to find a vendor.

What about those long thick cardboard shipping tubes? I use that to store mine in to protect it from a over active 2-year-old! The ones at the UPS store are pretty thick and durable.
