Last weekend I had a wedding down in the Pasadena area so I hitup my buddy Rudy Arpia and he came along.

Rudy is one of my favorite photographers for many reasons and so it was awesome knowing that he was around to capture all the awesome moments while Paul and I were sitting around doing nothing.

Rudy runs Foro De Fotografos which is an online community for photographers who speak spanish! So Vamos!!!

Seriously signup and check it out! It's free and there are awesome photographers over there sharing knowledge and helping each other daily...and if you know of photographers in your area who speak Spanish get them on there!

Here's a great shot that Rudy got at the wedding! He truly is an incredible photographer and has such an inspirational story so I think Professional Photographer should do an article on him!

Dude! It was awesome to spend the day with you guys... a little weird being followed all day by a guy with a tiny video camera but by the end of the day didn't even noticed biggrin.gif , can't wait to see some of that footage.

Thanks for letting me tag along!

Oh guys, DJ's videographer Paul was shooting the whole time and at one point DJ asked the bride to tell us how and why she had found and hired him as her photographer... it's a great anecdote and a big eye opener. Hopefully you'll get to see it soon on video.

A few images from the day...

I'm loving the results when I shoot b&w or sepia straight in camera with my Nikons (D3 or D300)... this one is a JPG straight out of the camera shot with the 50mm @ f1.4 - portrait a-la Jonathan Canlas! only I'm digital...

Be my guest!
I always do it when I can find those drum shape lamps... I love them.

Rudy -
Great pics!!

DJ - I love that pic of you and Paul taking 5 on the floor. I that is the real deal wedding photography right there - that is the essence of what we experience on the day, in-between the shooting.

I still find it amazing that I'm pretty much the bridesmaid, groomsmen, wedding planner, family liasion, and then they wonder why I get sore feet!!

You have to get that section of the vid posted!

Cheers, Nathan.
