Hi All

I'm about to take my first step into the world of albums. I've had great success with prints from WHCC and ProDPI thanks to the suggestions from you guys. And I plan on using the search tool and reading past threads on albums, but didn't know if anyone had any words of wisdom to share as to which album vendors might be a good place to start for someone producing their first album -- magazine and/or traditional mounted prints.

Anyone use WHCC or ProDPI album options?

Thanks,
Steve

KISS.... very simple to order an album, they will make the prints and bind it for you, any problems with your files they will let you know before they print it. great customer service.

+1000 on KISS for wedding albums. WHCC has great options for guest book albums. their press printed books with hinged pages have been a hit with a lot of my clients. good luck!

Thanks! I'll give them a check!

Yeah I'd suggest kiss 100% over anything else. WHCC's books are nice but they aren't quite the caliber that you'd want to sell as a primary album... maybe a guest book or something but certainly not a high-end book. That's what KISS is for... high-end albums. They're absolutely GORGEOUS books and the customer service kicks ASS.

Oh, and KISS is owned by two OSPers... so we got that goin' for us.... which is nice.

Thanks, Meeks. I don't take your recommendations lightly, and they do sound like a great option to get me started on the right path. Thanks to everyone who chimed in here, I registered with them.

I think you'll be very happy with their books... feel free to let me know if you have any questions about KISS.... or you can always email Kevin Swan or Shaun Austin there and they are always willing to help you out!

Best of luck man.

Groovy. These are the types of albums I would prefer to offer.

One thing I haven't seen much mention of are more traditional albums -- one print per page, mounted on the page. Has anyone here had any experience with a vendor that offers those styles as well?
