I currently use an australian company called Momento to do my proof books, Hard cover coffee table style books. Im finding their turn around time just too slow for me, and while i love the quality, its not cheep and its slow.

see a sample here

Im hoping to find another company that does a similar thing, but cheeper and quicker!

I currently get a 150 page book for around $220 (australian...so about $200 USA im guessing) and that fits about 700 images as proofs.

ive heard of Asuka, but they dont look like Hard cover, only soft? and im looking into Blurb...but are there any others you recomend? Hoping for a 2 week turnaorund at the most (currently on about 4 weeks) and hoping to cut down costs by at least 50%, without compromising too much on quality

Clare, The Edge lab in Melbourne are now doing Coffee Table Style books, and they are fantastic with customer service (I used them when I lived over there), so give them a call and ask about their books and get them to send you out a pack with the pricing, and some paper samples biggrin.gif

You can do them different sizes up to A3, and even make your own (eg. 8x8in etc), and also do part photo covers with the rest buckram.

Also, you might want to check out Fitzies.. they are starting to do the hardcover books now.

Asuka in Australia do hardcover books, but they can be quite expensive, and there are set page numbers, whereas with Fitzies and the Edge you can be more specific.
