It's been soooooooooo long sice I took my kids out and did a real session with them. I was focusing more on my daughter - as she turns 9 next month and these are for her birthday party invitations - but I wanted some of my son as well. It took seeing these to realize that he's really not a baby anymore. It made me pretty sad sad.gif

My kids hate being photographed - they're just over it for the most part - so I decided to just take them to play and capture whatever happened.

Anyway, let me know what you think smile.gif

"On Top of the World"

"Running Free"

"So Small in a Great Big World"
I took this in a location my new assistant found (I <3 her) because it was perfect to show how small they really still are - even though they're growing up so quickly.

This series is "One Day I'll Be Bigger Than You." They were racing up and down a huge hill and I love the look on his face the moment he realizes there's just no way he can win. One day he'll win wink.gif

Melody,

These are absolutely awesome...

....although...as a parent, I was a little worried the teletubbies were going to appear from behind those bucolic rolling hills...that would be scary.
Greg Lloyd

Actually - you can skip the pain & no drinking and have kids - School's out, want mine for the summer? (This may actually *encourage* drinking.)

Thanks for the first comment, but the Teletubbie thing... Wow, I'm not sure what to say to that, how rude!

I didn't even think about Teletubbies before it was mentioned - now, for some reason, I see them in every image.

Quite the contrary my dear Melody
Lisa L.
Love these Melody. ......all beautiful, but love the one with the balloons horizontal from the wind.

I swear I did not think Teletubbies until all of those goofballs said it.

My 5th grader had his last day at the elementary school today and as they walked from the building, everyone clapped and cheered for them. They all carried balloons just like yours and then let them go together.

The parents cheered and got excited but the kids were just too cool to really react. After about 5 minutes of hanging around, my son said "This is boring. Let's go home."
They don't even know what all of this means to us. Argghhhh.........
