Dan,
Saturday was a BFF wedding where I gave a family friend a big discount.
The Church was
Calvary Mid Rivers, which has lots of brightly colored walls in the children's area. The reception was at Bear Creek Golf Course, right down the road from the church.
My workflow usually goes like this:
Saturday night-
SynchToy files from Laptop to Desktop while enjoying SNL + bottle'o'beer.
Sunday evening-
Watch Tv with hubby while X'ing and P'ing my picks (1000 out of 3000) on my laptop (connected to desktop by Remote Desktop Connection) in Lightroom. Once done, choose 300-400 faves from the 1000 picks and mark '6'/Red.
Jump downstairs (for accurate color on desktop) to develop just the 300/400 album picks. Export.
Categorize into folders (GettingReadyGirls, Details, Ceremony etc.).
Go back upstairs to watch tv and work on desktop. Use scratch paper to Sketch out album designs. This is a huge time-saver. It makes sure I'm not wishy-washy when layout time comes.
Monday:
Plug sketched designs into InDesign (Some weeks my assistant comes over to do this while I clean house). Export. Open in PS and save each page as jpg. Re-import into LR for slideshow.
Easy peezy!
