She's a friend of mine, so I did this one for free to practice. She's a gorgeous lady who has tried for years to get pregnant. Years. She was even on Oprah to talk about their efforts. Well, they struck the jackpot now and are expecting twins (boy and girl). I'm really looking forward to taking their newborn pictures!

Since this was my first session, I was really glad it was with a friend so I could play around with different angles, etc. Please let me know what you think! I'll put a few here, more on my blog.

Love the first shot. Man thats a big belly . I guess thats what happens with you have two people squeezin in there. I am glad I am not a woman .

i love the first one, too, but to me the third one says it all. as a new mom-to-be, i totally get the look on her face ... excitement, anticipation, even a little gratitude. love it.

Great shots - I think what I love best about them is the texture of the woman's shirt. Imagine how different those shots would be if she was wearing the standard black mommy-to-be T-shirt?!
