I need to transfer 50 gig of data off my laptop. I know there is a way to boot up the lappy as a hard drive connected to my main computer. I just don't remember it. Any help?

If it's a Mac laptop, run a firewire cable between them and then start the laptop up while holding down the T key. It will start up in target disk mode and just show up like a normal hard drive. Just eject it from the computer like a normal drive before disconnecting.

Windoze- I have no idea. Get a Mac. wink.gif
