Seriously, why isn't that dude's IP blocked and his account deleted? I wasn't here for the initial woe-is-me stories and pleas for donations, but I've seen this kind of thing on forums so many times before. I'm too jaded to donate money to anyone on the 'net now, but I feel sorry for those of you who did. I would pretty pissed off right now. I don't think it's ignorance, stupidity, or his faith blinding all reason from him, I think he's just a con artist. He's probably a struggling painter on some other forum and a struggling trapeze artist on another.

you know shane... I like and respect you, but I have to disagree. I don't really think it is enough... A lot of us sent him money. Some of us sent a LOT of money. I think what he's done is shitty and being shitty back to him is probably the only "repayment" we'll ever get for our "generosity".

Tithes are sort of like taxes but paid to the church. You're SUPPOSED to pay 10% back to the church. He's baptist and so PROUDLY shares all his personal, financial, and religious info, I thought maybe since God has been "so good" to him I'd ask how good he'd been to God since he hasn't repaid ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS HELPED HIM>>>>

Seriously, if people are donating money that isn't being used in the manner they expected, it's borderline fraud and you'd think the moderators would want to protect the users here.

I'm glad everyone is so friendly, but unfortunately, there are people out there ready and willing to take advantage of people's friendliness and generosity.
