I recently got my new 10.5mm fisheye and LOVE iT!!! I just downloaded a free trial of Image Trends Fisheye Plug-in to remove the distortion, which does a beautiful job. But before I break down and purchase it, does anyone have any FREE solutions to recommend?

Tech Specs:
* Mac user
* Photoshop CS3
* Shoot RAW
* Nikon girl

Thanks. Unfortunately I don't use Aperture...

Capture NX. It can de-fish a fisheye.

why shoot with a fisheye if you don't want distortion?

uh... seems a bit counter-productive to me....

There is a version for Aperture, but it's not made by Apple. The Fisheye-Hemi program is a plug-in for Photoshop that will work on Mac or Windows.

Because it's my best wide angle at the moment and I'm shooting some rooms in my house for fun (especially progress pics of our baby nursery we are starting to decorate) and I don't want the distortion in the pics.

Yep, this is the one I was initially referring to. I downloaded the trial, and just wanted to know if there was a way of doing it for free before I spend the $29 on it. I know it's chump change, but it was just something I wanted to use for personal use right now. But no worries! I think I've found my answer.
