The previous owner spent years training the trees - the actual trunks look braided, I'll have to take a picture of that next. I actually have four trees in my backyard. One climbed onto the neighboring pine and now the whole bushy part of the wisteria tree is *in* the pine. You don't see it until spring when it blooms and then this huge pine tree is full of flowers.
It smells amazing outside right now.
I keep finding more "surprises" as this is my first spring in this house.
