i'm wondering if anyone has accomplished what i am hoping to do. trying to be as brief as i can, but this is confusing. :-)
my blog and website are the same. they are hosted through yahoo small business and i was ftp'ing posts through blogger with my own domain name. blogger had a glitch last month and i was not able to post for more than a week. so my graphic designer started working on moving things over to typepad.
the image galleries and all of the information are still hosted through yahoo, but the blog interface is now typepad. we tried to map my domain to typepad, but did not find a successful solution without setting up a redirect page from www.bentonparkphotoco.com . i'm not thrilled with the user being redirected, so i would like for that to be seemless. typepad suggested using their pages function, but it isn't quite dynamic enough to work.
what should happen is that the user goes to bentonparkphotoco.com as they always have and end up at our blog which is now a typepad blog instead of a blogger blog. does that make sense?
my designer didn't previously have experience with this and she does not believe there is a way to do it.
if you are a web guru and know of a way to do this, drop me a line. THANKS!!
