Does anybody know how to keep a blog post always at the top of the blog? I'm also trying to change the background color of my blog, just the outside to gray and keep the post area white. Anybody know how to do these two things? Thanks

Well it depends. I've seen some newer blog templates that have a short bio at the top. That's actually coded that way - so one module sits at the top. A quick work-around that you can try is to just set a date far into the future and because it's the "latest" post, it will stay on the top. (Of course this will look a little silly if you have the date showing on your blog. I'm not sure if that will work for every kind of blog, but I have seen some people do that.

As for changing the color, again, it depends on your layout. Typically the text area of your blog is separated either as a layer or table and you can set the color of the actual background to be separate from that. If you are using a hosted blog a lot of them have general templates where you pick what you want without having to get too heavy into editing the css.

I have a blogger blog, and i useing the 'layout' page you 'add new page element' and add a 'text' box...or a 'picture' box, and drag it on top of your blog posts.... then it will always stay on top smile.gif

tp change the colours there is a 'fonts and colours' option and you just go though it and change all your options.
