I want to make a new sample album, but im unsure if i should do a full wedding, or say 30 pages with one wedding per page, OR just a best of album....
jdear
Personally I think a whole Wedding - it's the best way of setting expectations of what the client will receive and is more realistic I think than an album of best images.

Mostly Brides want to get an idea of what they will receive when they look at a Sample Album.

I guess having one (or a couple) of more 'best of' album/s is great but I think mostly whole weddings are the way to go.

Do two albums...16-20 pages each, whatever the minimum. One wedding in each.
Since they are a selling tool, use two different album styles: for example, an Asuka Book (slim coffee table style, paper pages, photo cover) and a Zookbook or Leather Craftsmen...heavier, leather cover, stiff pages.

You get to show your photographs as well as two different styles of books you sell. And people buy what they sell.

Hi John... I remember you from Photo.net!

Hi John, welcome to OSP!

Hi Kari...I remember you from photo.net! LOL

I would do a whole album. Brides want to see what they are getting. I would save your best of for another album or individual prints.

WHAT I MEANT WAS...people buy what they SEE.

ps - Hello Kari, nice to "see" you again.

I agree with people buy what they see. I never had a sample of a flush mount album until recently. I would tell customers what they were, show them pictures in a catalog of them, but no one bought one. I just got one, and everyone loves it! I have had several brides tell me that they will get a flush mount over the traditional.
