I just worked on updating my blog layout after having a conversation with a fellow photographer yesterday about a few changes/points about my blog.

Check out the brand new launched [michellemooreblog.com] & let me know what you think!

For me the layout is clean, streamlined, and much easier to navigate. Plus I have created a new way to display my images so that more focus is on them, and less on my branding/logo.

Thanks for looking!

Hey Michelle,

I like the new layout, however, the branding on the photos is really hard to read. I mean I tried to read it and I couldn't on some photos. The average person will not be looking for it. I think most of us are trying to fine-tune the best way to display work, show ppl how they can see more, and keep our clients/readers up to date on our recent projects. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. smile.gif

Peace,
Parris

Parris,

I am really thinking about this still. It doesn't bother me, and my thoughts on it are as follows:: I'm trying to keep my logo/branding off the images displayed on my blog so that the viewer can just look at a set of images and really feel them. I don't want the text to be obtrusive, and it is more there to be a faint watermark then something you actually stop and look at. If it doesn't serve this purpose, or is too distracting, let me know. I could play with the colors or making it slightly bigger?

If you want to do a watermark, I think your graphical logo would be a better choice. Just my opinion smile.gif

+1

keep the logo instead. the text works for some photos and doesnt for some. i also feel that it's too much to the left and bottom.i dont prefer it to touch the borders(which you can lose) actually.

nice blogsite =)
