I'm in the market for another flash and would love to find the older version of Canon's 580EX. Does anyone have one they would like to unload, or know of anyone who might sell?

Keep an eye out at KEH.com and FredMiranda.com. 580ex flashes will go FAST since they're a lot less expensive and almost as feature rich as the 580EX II but you're bound to find one. Best of luck!

KEH is an excellent used equipment broker, all of the stuff i've seen from them is top-notch. also make sure and check in on their "in-transit inventory" or whatever it's called - basically it's stuff that they're expecting to receive very soon.

Fred Miranda is another forum, but the buy/sell is really the only part that i go on... lots of good stuff, and I bought my 1Ds Mark II from a guy on there... it's very nice because they've got a feedback/rating system there, so you know if someone is legit or not.

Just pm me for more details. It's over 1 year old, I'm the 2nd owner, the 1st owner was very trustworthy and said it was never really used. He ended up going Nikon, so he sold it to me. It's my third of two backup flashes and I've never had to use it. I don't rock out off camera lighting at weddings that much.
