I was editing a lot of pics in Lightroom and everything was great. I exported them all, but I got a error on one of the pics, so i deleted it. Then all of a sudden all my pics in the folder are gone. Is there a way to get the pictures back? or would i have to import them all back again? thanks

hmmm not exactly sure what happened, you aren't completely clear. but you're saying that you REMOVED the images from your LR library, you didn't DELETE them from the disk. so yeah, you can just re-import them to LR.

if you have a mac and you're using time machine, just revert your LR catalog to the most recently backed up version before the problem.

Yea I just re-imported them back. It sucks since all the setting and adjustments had have been lost, but that alright i guess

if you want to prevent that from happening again, make sure and write the metadata to sidecar files. i can't remember right off how to do this, but i'll look when i get home. or someone else can chime in and tell you where to find the option in the menus.
