After seeing some of your albums, I've designed a parents book for a couple with a neat approach. They are not my photos, but it's my design.
albums designI was also wondering if while you're shooting a wedding, do you shoot with the album design in mind. Like thinking about what pictures and compositions would work best in an album?
Sorry for so many questions, but also, what company(s) do you use to bind the books?
i really like your parent's book - they will really love it, too - which is what is important.
i do shoot with the album in mind, but, i don't shoot for the album. the image has to stand on it's own. i'm an old lady, and have decided that i shoot for myself, and i do the album for myself. then, the client can choose the pages they want, add, delete, or change the book. once it's posted for the client, it's no longer my book - it's theirs. they have to love it.
i think the photography has to come first. crappy photographs in a great design, still look crappy (and the opposite is true, too.)
my Signature Book is a 10x10 Montage Art book from Art Leather. We also use Leather Craftsmen, Zookbinders, Asukabook (for guest books) and

Queensberry.
i start with a 10x10 design, unless the client knows before i begin the design that they want a different size.
hope that helps!
and thanks for checking them out! i know it takes a lot of time to go through all of them!
