i live in the same town as that cook fellow (just east of KC). unfortunately, since i'm not from here i don't feel hometown pride or anything. good for him for getting his ticket to fame

i won't go into my real feelings about what a crock american idol is though lol

David Cook better win. He seems to be really grounded. He seems to be the supportive big brother of the other contestants.

David A just seems awkward on stage.

david artichokelletta is smug. i dont like him at all. there is nothing special about him at all other than the fact he can carry a tune. he sang everything well, but certainly never wowed me at all.

david cookiepoo is pretty cool and deserves to win.

Unfortunately, you're probably right. The girls thinks he's cute but he has no stage presence... just a good voice -- but nothing special though.

I respectfully disagree - He's a little boring to me.

David A was a plant in the compeition that producers had their eye on, but he just reached age to audtion this year. He was always going to go to the finale. He could be a huge cash cow for them.

The show is not as real as they want you to believe.

Money talks and behind the scenes a lot of wheeling and dealing goes on, sometimes unbeknownst to the contestant.

While David A can ssing.. his "sweet innocent, you like me act" is a bit much. Also he acts as if the arrangements on some of the songs is totally new to him... yet he has videos on youtube of him singing these songs.. years ago.. the same way.
His dad is an A** as well.

I almost want David A to win because I think david C can be more succesful without that binding contract!

It doesn't matter who wins really....David A can sing, but he's got the marketability of Clay Aiken (ie...NONE) and David Cook will get a deal either way cuz he's awesome (Kinda reminiscent of Chris Daughtry).

I wanted Josiah Lemming to win... but he got kicked way back in Hollywood week.

Seriously though, both are super talented and I would be happy either way. Oh somebody said David A's dad is.. well not a nice name. What did his dad do? Or is it his hats that you don't like... what man wears a pageboy???? Ha ha Sorry if there are any guys on here that wear them.

America got it right! Although I have to say that David A did a great job singing with Apologize with One Republic. They're both winners and will go far but I definitely think that America got it right! Awesome!
