Proshow embedded into Wordpress!!

We would like to use Proshow for some of our blog post. I made a show and created a flash vesion of it. I tried to get the code that Proshow generated to work but it did not!

I swiped the code from a Showit show and change some of the code.

Here it is>>>>

<em><object type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” width=”600″ height=”600″ id=”showit_swf” data=”http://www.schmidtphoto2.com/Proshow_08/300Tigers.swf”><param name=”movie” value=”http://www.schmidtphoto2.com/Proshow_08/300Tigers.swf” /><param name=”flashvars” value=”showit_embed=http://www.schmidtphoto2.com/Proshow_08/300Tigers</|600|600|1|0|0″ /><param name=”wmode” value=”transparent” /><param name=”salign” value=”LT” /><param name=”menu” value=”false” /><param name=”loop” value=”false” /><param name=”quality” value=”best” /><param name=”bgcolor” value=”#FFFFFF” /></object></em>

What you see is what happened! Anyone have a better idea??

It ends early???

Output the show as an movie file like avi or mpg. The latest version of WP will let you add video. So at least it says. I haven't tried it yet. Other than that upload the movie file to YouTube.com and then embed it into the WP post.

The trick is to turn off the visual editor when you want to post embedded vidoes. It works great that way. You can always turn it back on after you are done posting a video.

The visual editor wrecks havoc on embedded media.

In WP 2.5.1, edit your user and you will see the visual editor check box at the top. Here's a helfpful video on this issue:
