Well, when my husband was in school in Marietta Ga- I worked for an extremely wealthy family as the Nanny and Laundress. They had a full time house keeper and a full time grounds person, then me. I had to change the sheets every other day- and the sheets had to be ironed. In fact, after a few months, she ordered some sort of pressing machine from switzerland for me to use (you would just roll the sheets through) in all honesty it was much easier to just iron them. They had three kids and two seperate guest carriages, and they all were ironed as well. If they did have guests, I had to change the linens, soap, towels, etc.. EVERYDAY! It was crazy but fun! I even had to crease the pillow cases a certain way. But I must tell you when you are putting nicely pressed sheets on the bed- it sure did feel good- even to me
