My question is more geared toward those that photography is not their main source of income but any feedback is welcome. I'm getting ready
to unsure.gif start charging and was wondering at what point do I need to get a business license and all the other wonderful things that go along with it? I'm going to focus on family/kid portraits and plan on doing roughly 2-4 shoots a month. My goal is to be able to fund my personal projects i.e. make up artist, models, etc.... Thanks in advance....

if you are running a business that generates income you need a biz license and sales tax ID (if needed for your area). Too many people do not think this is needed and sidesteps those that do things in a lawful manner.
