Here is a late submission... :-) I couldn't add it to the list but it's a sweet shot by one of our wonderful Brooks students so I wanted to post it up!

I love the candlelight image. Great color. . .moody. . .interesting. And I'm a big fan of open (negative?) space in photographs.
A close second would be #2 for the composition and selective focus. Very cool.

Well, in my non-photographer opinion...I really like the colors that come out in picture #5. It's such a beautiful shot with the dark space above the candles and the orange light that comes out. After that though, would be shot #6 because I just love those secret, random shots where you don't expect them. There was one shot, that I think David shot before in a TV, of the bride that was really unique and #6 reminds me of that. Very cool shots!

Are we ever gonna do any more contests?? I'd totally be interested in doing shots for some and seeing what other people produce.

I don't know if anyone would be interested in it, but how about doing contests with different themes each month, or however often? We could all brainstorm some ideas, we could make some work/wedding related, and make others more personal to help us strech our thought process more? I'd be up for helping to brainstorm and put something together.

Hey, hey, hey... now wait a minute!! What about those of us (I guess it is mainly me) who don't shoot weddings??

Chris every wedding photographer needs to make $(bling-bling) somewhere, so don't put DJ down for following after his God given humor!!!(The Lords FUNNY)

well, we'll have to give it a go again. And Gregg, I'm totally with you, we need to also do stuff that is not exactly wedding related. It is always helpful to shoot something different than what you do day-to-day in order to broaden your abilities. What sort of stuff would you want to enter?

Tim --- Well I guess that would have to be up to the topic of the month's shoot... but I'd like to see people do some artistic portraiture... Take a concept and run with it.
